East Coast Fly In/Fly Out Club Hunt over Canterbury Anniversary Weekend.  Groups will be flying out of Mesopotamia Station on Thursday the 16th of November and returning on Sunday the 19th of November.  Trip capacity is twelve hunters in groups of three at four landing sites.  Proposed landing sites are Royal Hut, Stone Hut, Crooked Spur Hut and Potts Hut.  Target species are Tahr and Deer.

North Canterbury Deerstalkers Association will conduct this trip with all care within its control Wilderness Hunting can be a dangerous activity. Responsibility for normal safety and conduct remains the responsibility of the individuals. Do not extend beyond your capabilities.

 

Required Gear: Minimum recommendations for every Hunt is Personal Location Beacon (PLB), GPS, Map, Compass, and a suitable form of communication. Landing sites are at huts but bringing a tent if the hut is full or you wish to fly camp may be desirable.
